(1778) March 23, 1908 - The W. H. Mullins Co. - Manufactures of Boats and Marine Engines - Salem, Ohio. Condition: Good Plus Letterhead measures 8/12" by 10". This is the first Billhead I have found that deal with Boating at such an early date. It is typed and is written to Nelson and Wallace Company. Seems they want this company to give them a list of prospective customers! The Letterhead states that they deal in Pressed Steel Motor Boats, Row Boats, Hunting and Fishing Boats, and Marine Engines. n 1906 they started producing stamped steel boats in two sizes, 9' and 15' in length, the 9' boat sold for $50.00 and the 15' for $110.00. The Boat Company was in operation from 1893 to 1924. Mr. Mullins also had a Pressed Steel company that did parts for Cars, WWI Airlanes and Gas Masks. W.H. Mullins died in 1932. Price: $12.00 + shipping.
