It is a handwritten notice stating that a check for $26.41 was enclosed, leaving a balance due of $15.00. It is stamped on the bottom has having been received by Wilbur, Campbell and Stephens. Picture (883) October 8, 1908 - A.C. Phipps & Co to Heidelberg, Wolff & Co. - New York. Condition: Very Good Page has been folded. It is a handwritten notice for an amount of $10.25 due. The top of the billhead has beautiful handwritten script. Bill measures 5 1/2" by 8 1/2". Price: $5.00 + Shipping.

Picture (895) July 1, 1910 - Hingham Knitting Co. - South Hingham, Mass. - Medium and Fine Hosiery Condition: Very Good Page has been folded. It is a receipt and bill for the remittance of $21.75. The information is handwritten. Billhead is a complete smaller page. Price: $4.00 + Shipping.

Picture (899) August 1, 1910 - Heidelberg, Wolff & Co. - New York. Condition: Very Good Page has been folded. It is a handwritten notice for an amount due. There is a message either stamped or typed at the bottom. Billhead complete page - small size. Price: $4.00 + Shipping.

Picture (900) July 15, 1910 - Manheim Hosiery Mills Co. - Manheim, PA Condition: Very Good Page has been folded. It is a typed notice for an amount due. Evidently the bill was way overdue...it was from December the year before. The typed message says " Dear Sir: Do you have any notion of paying this account? If so, WHEN? (underlined). Billhead complete page - small size. Price: $4.00 + Shipping.

Picture (1077) January 1, 1873 - Mrs. John G. Ford - Manufacturer of French Cloth & Hoop Skirts - Boston. Condition: Very Good Billhead measures 7" by 5 1/2". Billhead states that Mrs. Ford was the original inventor of the Floating Bell Skirts! Also lists what she offers including Night Dresses, Bridal Trousseaux, Chemises, Corset Covers, Walking Skirts, Trains, Hoop and Cloth Skirts, Paniers, Infants Wardrobe, plus many more items. The bill is handwritten and was for $1.50. Price: $11.00 + Shipping.

Picture (1428) April 9, 1907 - Klee & Co. - Tailor - New York. Condition: Very Good Letterhead measures 8" by 11" and has been folded. Letter was typed and signed by Mr. Klee. States to Mr. Phipps (customer) that the order for Jewell was cut exactly as requested and they are not responsible for the fact the garments do not fit! Sound familiar? Price: $6.50 + Shipping.

Picture (1430) November 26, 1906 - A.C. Phipps. - Gents Furnishings - Bristol, N.H. Condition: Very Good Letterhead measures 8" by 11" and has been folded. Letter was handwritten to A.M. Moriarty & Co. requesting a dark brown hat - size 7 - soft with a 4 1/4 " rim turned up at the edges. There is a check stapled to the letter. The letter and check were returned to Mr. Phipps, with the message stating "nothing to fill the bill". Price: $6.50 + Shipping.

Picture (1437) March 1, 1916 - Welch-Cook Company - Clothing - Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Condition: Good Plus Billhead measures 8" by 7" and has been folded. Some darkening at top of page. Very nice vignette of the Company Building. Typed list of Items of clothing ordered. The Welch-Cook Building was financed by a prominent resident of Cedar Rapids - Arthur Tappan Averill. Price: $7.00 + Shipping.

Picture (1443) July 27, 1925 - F. Brody & Sons Co. - Furnishing Goods - Des Moines, Iowa. Condition: Very Good Letterhead measures 8 1/2" by 7" and has been folded. Very nice vignette of the Company Building. Typed letter asking the Elmer Wood Co. in Moulton, Iowa to respond about an outstanding debt of $551.00. Letter signed by L.D. Ramsey. Falk Brody formed the wholesale clothing firm in Des Moines in 1880, helping to change the trend of family's making their own clothes. The company prospered and leased a new building in 1907 at 312-314 Court Ave. Brody leased the building for 35 years before purchasing it in 1942. Price: $8.00 + Shipping.

PicturePicture (1460) December 17, 1908 - Hollister & Noble - Rubber Boots & Shoes - Auburn, New York. Condition: Good Plus Letterhead measures 8 1/2" by 5 1/4". Attractive vignette. Handwritten bill. One of the owners, Henry D. Noble lived at 192 Genesee in 1900. The company was noted in a 1900 directory of Auburn, NY. Price: $6.00 + Shipping.

Picture (1528) August 31, 1895 - Rockford Overalls Mfg.Co. - Rockford, Illinois. Condition: Very Good Letterhead measures 6" by 9 1/2". Attractive vignette. Handwritten letter sent to Robert B. Fisk, Esq (Attorney) in Gettysburg, South Dakota. Letter was about their surprise that they did not have a judgement against a Mr. Cole who still owed $200.00. Price: $10.00 + Shipping.

Picture (1529) September 26, 1895 - Rockford Overalls Mfg.Co. - Rockford, Illinois. Condition: Very Good Letterhead measures 6" by 9 1/2". Attractive vignette. Handwritten letter sent to Robert B. Fisk, Esq (Attorney) in Gettysburg, South Dakota. Letter states that a draft for $25.00 was inclosed as a fee for Mr. Fisk taking the judgement against Mr. Cole. Price: $10.00 + Shipping.

PicturePicture (1729) June 30, 1905 - Wm. Ullman & Sons- Agents for Butterick Patterns - Selma, Alabama. Condition: Good Plus Beautiful Billhead that measures 8 1/2" by 7" and has been folded. There is some foxing which does not show as dark in person as on the scan. Very nice vignette of the company initials and title. The order is handwritten and was for Miss Suttler & Jones. It included patterns for one hat, one pair of pants, one suit, and another item. Also there was a ten percent discount. A wonderful piece of southern ephemera! Price: $9.00 + Shipping.

Picture (1733) Letterhead - August 23, 1895 - Rockford Overalls - Rockford, Illinois. Condition: Very Good Wonderful handwritten letter with decorative script letterhead. Letter was sent to Robert Fisk, Esq. in South Dakota. Mentioned that Mr. Fisk settled a matter for them in 1892 against a Mr. Cole. They evidently did not receive the money owed them after the judgement. Price: $10.00 + Shipping.

PicturePicture (1770) Billhead - June 28, 1909 - Parker Holmes & Co. - Boston, Massachusetts. Condition: Good Decorative script and picture of the company on the billhead. Company was a wholesaler in Boots, Shoes and Rubbers. Has some red print and a red seal. There is darkening around the edges. Billhead measures 8" by 7". H.B. Parker was a senior member of the company. This bill was sent to the sellers of general merchandise, Nelson and Wallace in Ryegate, Vermont. Price: $7.00 + Shipping.
