"Centennial Pen Wiper - C 1876"



Picture(731) Centennial Pen Wiper - C 1876 -Condition: Very Good Patriotic Post Civil War Pen Wiper, used around 1876 during the US Centennial Celebration. Made of either calf's skin or chamoise cloth, this wiper has an interesting scalloped edge and was used to clean excess ink from the tips of quill pens. The wiper measures 1.75" by 3.25". There is a woodcut picture of George Washington attached to the wiper. SOLD!!
