This very interesting Billhead includes a detailed list of charges. This list covered the entire year of 1869, and lists businesses and amounts. Evidently these were the businesses that James M. Douglass used South-End Express, to send letters or packages to. A Broadside that was issued in 1861 in Boston, stated that South-End Express would get letters and packages to and from Roxbury and Boston. This Billhead is a wonderful piece of Early Boston History.
