Cover is complete and the pages are in wonderful condition. Many diagrams and photos. This interesting home medical book covers hundreds of topics from bathing, beef tea, the brain, patten medicine, to tropical health care. It has 792 pages! Picture (925) The Massachusetts Medical Society - Directory of the Officers and Fellows - February 15, 1940 -Condition: Excellent Alphabetical and Local Lists of the Members of The Massachusetts Medical Society. Book is softback and has 0ver 277 pages. There is a fold out map of Massachusetts in the back of the book showing all of the counties and districts. Picture (993) Vintage - Muriatic Acid - Poison Label. -Condition: Very Good (Never Used) The Label comes complete with the standard skull and cross bones emblem to signify poison. The label also has directions for treatment if acid has touched the skin, or been taken internally. One of the treatments is to mix soft soap up in water, milk or raw egg and drink! The label measures 2 1/2" by 2". (There are 5 labels available). Price: $5.00 each + shipping.

Picture (1596) Receipt - June 28, 1888 - Nichols & Harris Wholesale Druggists - New London, Connecticut. Condition: Very Good Receipt measures 8 1/4" by 3". Beautiful Trademark on end of receipt. Money was received from Kirtland & Co. in the amount of $52.40. NOTE: Wrinkles and shadows are do to the protective covering. Interesting ad in a local newspaper in 1882, said that the store had the following available for sale: "Gum Camphor, Dalmation Insect Powder, Powder White Helebore, Sponges in Variety and Chamois Skins." Nichols and Harris was in business for more than 35 years, with shops on Main and State Streets in New London. James, Kirtland & Co. produced an Illustrated Catalogue of Ornamental Iron Works in 1870. Price: On Auction + shipping

PicturePicture (1962) Prescription - November 14, 1896 - Becker Bros. Pharmacy - Elkader, Iowa. Condition: Very Good Receipt measures 3 1/2" by 5 1/2". Written by: Dr. G. G. White, M. D. Becker Bros. opened their pharmacy in 1892 when John Becker bought the Whitney Bldg. The firm consisted of John and Will Becker, a registered pharmacist. The February newspaper account of the opening noted that “The young men havefurnished their store with a neat outfit of counters and shelves done in cherry, which makes a handsome appearance. Picture (1646) Kodak Films - Black and White Negative Materials - 1941. - Condition: Very Good A Data Book On Black-and-White Negative Materials. Goes into great detail of the available materials that Kodak has for the professional photographer. Not only does it list the items but has detailed instructions on the use of each item. There are many diagrams and Black and White photos throughout the book. It is written in the style of an instructional booklet. The booklet measures 6" by 8 1/2" and has 59 pages. Picture (340)Ink Blotters Lebanon Mutual Insurance Co. 1936 and Circa 1940.-Condition: All are in almost Mint Cond. There are 6 Blotters in this set. All are large, measuring 4" by 9". Each has a different clasical painting on the front with scenes from around the world. These are really beautiful blotters. 3 of them are copyrighted in 1936. The other three have a higher print number and a little different design in the print. I am estimating the year should be around 1940.Price: $4.00 per blotter or $20.00 for the set of 6 + shipping.

Picture (1170) December 1945 - Blotter - Koppers Co. - Utica, New York. -Condition: Good Plus - Slightly Used. (Tape showing in scan is on the plastic cover - not on the blotter itself) Calendar Blotter for the month of December in 1945. It has Koppers Tarmac on the top with an illustration of a highway with trees surrounding it. Done in red and white. The blotter measures 8 3/4" by 3 3/4". Price: $4.00 + shipping.

Oversized blotter with a shield in the corner with the date 1841. The Philadelphia Branch Office has a street address, but no phone number. Joseph Doyle is listed as the manager. Picture (886) University of New Hampshire Yearbook - The Granite - 1932. -Condition: Excellent Very substantial yearbook with some wonderfully artistic B&W campus photos at the beginning of the book. The photos show great parts of the the campus at different times of the year...using very artistic approaches. The rest of the yearbook comprises of Class lists for each level, and photos for the Junior Level, photos of the Fraternities and Sororities, clubs, dedications to various officers, some historical background on the University, and much more. PicturePicture (990) 1897-1898 - Souvenir of Our School - Gwin School - District No. 36 - Pamphlet. -Condition: Very Good This little Pamphlet was given out to the Students listed on the inside page. The front states that it is given with Compliments of Your Teacher (Clema L. Hubbard). This might have been handed out at the end of a school year to the students of Gwin School. The Pamphlet measures 3 1/2" by 4 3/4" (folded). It is in beautiful condition. The Commencement Program listed below is from the same area (I believe it is Bourbon County in Kansas). Two of the students listed in this Pamphlet are also listed as a graduate in the Program Below (Item 991). Price: Sold

PicturePicture (991) 1899 - Tenth Annual Commencement - Clarksburg School House - Bourbon County - District No. 36 - Program. -Condition: Good Plus This commencement Pamphlet is from the same area as the Pamphlet above. I believe they both come from Bourbon County in Kansas. Two of the Graduates listed in this Commencement Program, Sadie Wright and Dora Wright, are also listed in the Pamphlet from Gwin School (Item 990). The list of graduating students plus the evening program are printed inside of the Commencement Program. In 1871 the coal-mining interests established "B" switch of section 27, township 26, range 25. The town of Clarksburg was established on that site. The name Clarksburg commemorates the maiden name of the wife of one of the early settlers. It was the home of those that worked in the strip bank and at one time had 800 residents. The 1891-92 directory of Fort Scott and Bourbon county gives Clarksburg a list of thirty-one male residents of voting age. The town was never platted and has since been turned into farmland. It is considered a lost town of Bourbon County. It has been folded once in half, with a very small tear at the edge of the fold. The Program measures 5" by 8" when closed. Price: Sold

Picture (1062) Unknown Photo Date - Castle Garden & Liberty Statue-Condition: Very Good. Photo in Color. Shows the Castle Garden and Liberty Statue in New York. There are several ships in the background. I believe this card is a modern reproduction of an earlier stereocard. Price: $2.00 + shipping.

Picture (1064) Photo 1906 - Market Street - San Francisco -Condition: Very Good. Reproduction of Black and White Photo. Shows Market Street with people, carriages, and horses. States that this was taken just before the Earthquake. This card is made of thin cardboard and is marked as being a sample of The Disaster Series. The back of the card has a wonderful illustration of The Holmes Stereoscopes with text for advertising. This card was reproduced in 1978. Price: $2.50 + shipping.

Picture (1070) Photo Circa 1905 - The World Building and City Hall - New York -Condition: Good +. Black and White photo. The World Building in New York was the tallest building in the US when it was completed in 1890. It stood 309 feet tall, and was designed by the famed architect George B. Post. Picture (1176) Crate Label - Covered Wagon - Placer County - Prior to WWII. -Condition: Very Good. Illustration of covered wagon with cattle and western figures on horseback. Has the Blue Anchor Symbol (California Fruit Exchange). Issued for Mountain Fruits from the Newcastle Fruit Growers Assn. The California Fruit Exchange began business in 1907 in Sacramento. The company name was changed after WWII to Blue Anchor, Inc. Label measures 11" by 3 1/2". Price: $8.00 + shipping.
